# Seller Protection

When you make a sale in any District marketplace, you’ll be covered by District Seller Protection. That means we’ll protect you against disputes and chargebacks.

To qualify for Seller Protection, you must:

* Sell the item on an District marketplace and be set-up on District Payments.
* Send the item as described (in good packaging) with tracked shipping on District to the correct address\* in a reasonable timeframe. You must keep proof of shipping & delivery.
 * Items over $750 must ship with signature confirmation
 * Items over $1,000 must ship with insurance.
* Keep evidence that your item shipped was as described.
* Item must arrive as described\*\*

\*shipments to an intermediary or processing station instead of directly to the address provided on the District sale can disqualify an order for Seller Protection

\*\*items damaged in transit or not as described in the listing are not covered by District Seller Protection
