Boosting Your Sellers' Lives with Multicasting
If you are a marketplace owner, you can boost your sellers' lives by multicasting them to your own social media (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook Pages, etc.). This feature helps bring more visibility to your sellers while growing marketplace engagement.
You can also encourage your sellers to multicast their lives to their own socials for even greater reach. Sellers can learn how by viewing this multicasting guide here.
How to Boost a Seller’s Live Sale
Only available on the iOS app (not web):
Open the iOS app and go to your Seller Dashboard.
Tap New Live.
Below, you'll see the current lives happening in your marketplace.
Select the live sale you’d like to join.
Once in the live, you’ll see control icons at the bottom. (Tip: Make sure you are muted; if unmuted, the seller and viewers will hear you.)
To cast, tap the signal icon and turn on the socials you’d like to cast to.
Once casted, wait a few seconds. You should usually see a white dot appear by the signal icon when successfully casted, or you can check your socials to confirm. You can then either leave this state and watch from the marketplace or stay in the joined state if you prefer. (In the joined state, you can unmute to speak with the seller, help start auctions, and assist as needed)
