Setting Up Your District

If you haven't created your District yet, you can get started here. Once you've created your District and selected your plan (Standard or Pro) you can begin setting up your District.

Easily set up and personalize your District with branding elements like your name, logo, and banner, and choose which features to enable, such as live selling and community chat. This guide walks you through key customization settings available. Please note these changes can be done on the website (not the app).

Accessing Your District Settings

To set up and customize your District:

  1. Go to your Seller Dashboard on Web (not app).

  2. Click the Settings button in the bottom-left.


Branding Your District

In the Settings section, you can update the following:

  • Banner Image – Upload a banner to display at the top of your District.

  • Logo – Set the logo.

  • District Name – Choose the name of your District.

  • District Handle – Set the unique handle for your District (district.net/___)

  • Description – Provide a short overview of what your District is about.

  • Category – Select the category that best fits your District.

  • Theme Color (Pro Plan Only) – Customize the color theme of your District to match your branding.


Community Settings

Owners can enable or disable key features to shape their community experience. In the Community Settings section, you can toggle:

  • Commerce – Enable selling and services within your District.

  • Community Chat – Create group channels for discussion. Review the Chat Channels guide here for more details.

  • Live – Allow live shows to be hosted by your sellers where members can watch, buy, and chat.

  • Leaderboard – Show community leaderboard for members and sellers.

  • Activity – Display recent listings and sales activity.


Sales Settings

You can also configure Sales Settings to customize your District:

  • Multi-Seller - Enable multiple sellers to list products in your District. Note: You or your admins must approve or reject each seller before they can list items or go live.

    • Marketplace Fees - Set the seller commission fee on sold price for sales in your marketplace. You can change this in the future.

  • Listing Options - Select which listing options you (and/or sellers) can use in your District such as Auctions, Buy Now, Giveaways, etc.


Launch Date

Select when your District becomes active:

  • Now – Launch immediately.

  • Schedule – Pick a specific date and time.

  • I’ll Decide Later – Hold off until you’re ready.
