District Referral Program

Share a discount with a new buyer on District, and receive credit after they make their first purchase.

When your friend buys something on the District platform, they’ll have the opportunity to input your referral code during checkout to get an immediate $5 discount on their order (min. order of $10).

As a thank you, you’ll receive $5 District credit to spend on the platform. District credit becomes available after your friend’s order is successfully delivered and is automatically applied to your next purchase.

Where do I find my code?

You’ll see a referrals button on the side navigation bar in the iPhone app and in the top navigation header on desktop.

Any exclusions?

Referral codes can only be applied to orders made on Buy Now listings. Auctions and Offers are not currently eligible.

• Is there a minimum purchase amount required to use the referral code?

  Yes, a purchase of at least $10 before shipping and tax is needed to qualify.

• Is there a limit to how much credit I can earn?

  Each user can carry a max total of $100 credit in their balance at any time.

• Why are my credits pending?

  When someone makes a purchase with your code, the credit will be pending until that person receives their order. Once the item is delivered, the credit will become available for spending.

• How do I spend my credit? Available credit is applied automatically at the time of purchase. You can use credit for any purchase on District.

• If I hit my maximum credit balance, will new users still be able to use my referral code?

  Yes, even if you max out your balance, your code will continue to provide new users a discount on their first item purchased.

• If I refer someone to a marketplace but they have already made a purchase in a different marketplace, do I still get credit?

  No, the referral code only applies to people who haven't made a purchase on any District marketplace.

• I'm a seller—can I get a code that works specifically for my marketplace or listings?

  Discount codes that can only be used on your own marketplace and listings coming soon!
