Portrait vs. Landscape

District now supports all types of webcams (including OBS) to stream. For most webcams, your feed will show in portrait mode on the following platforms:

  • District

  • TikTok

  • Twitter

Your feed will show in landscape mode on the following platforms:

  • YouTube

  • Twitch

How it works

Go live from the iOS app and start streaming

  1. Sign in to your account on desktop web and open your livestream page

  2. Click ⚙️ Settings in the top right corner of the webpage

  3. Turn on all permissions for camera, microphone, and notifications

Make sure you grant webcam and microphone access to iso on your web browser.

From the Settings prompt, you’ll be able to select your OBS Virtual Camera by clicking on the dropdown. Note: If you don't see this option, you may have to refresh your browser.

Your mobile device will show the feed from the selected webcam. All of the livestream controls including bringing listings On Stage and ending the stream will be available on the mobile device.
